For the Maddermarket's March 2008 production of Yazmina Reza's play 'Art', three large paintings were required (4' x 4'). A completely white canvas, a Jack Vettriano copy, and a view from a window of Carcassonne in France. I was asked to do the latter so here is my interpretation of that view in various stages of progress.

Photos of my first ever commisson from Sacré Teatré at the University of East Anglia. I was asked to make three rhinoceros heads for their 2008 production of Ionesco's Rhinocéros play. Here are Rodney and Roberta in various stages of creation.
Here is a collection of images from the work I did on the Maddermarket Theatre's 2007 Christmas production of Puss In Boots. I was asked by the director, Peter Sowerbutts, to make a rhino head, a lion head, and a crocodile head for the mirror sequence.

The Maddermarket Theatre's September 2007 production of Noel Coward's Private Lives. I was asked to build an illuminated hotel sign so this shows the work in progress and the final result. Two sets of christmas lights, a lot of shuttering ply, some welding, and many mugs of tea later...

My role for this show was to paint an English college garden scene on the back wall. It was the first time I had painted anything in about five years. I painted with a washing up brush, my palms and my fingers. I'd forgotten you're meant to use a brush. Oops! :D
